Your First Visit to Our Anacortes Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Many people are afraid to come to the chiropractor because they think it is going to be a lot of work.

We've simplified all the paper work down to just the basics. After you arrive you should be able breeze through the paperwork quickly. Then it's back in with the doctor for an examination to see if we can help you with your problems.

Usually the visit takes around 45 minutes, with more complicated problems going up to an hour, and less complicated problems taking only approximately 30 minutes.

After a brief synopsis of findings, we like to adjust our patients on the first visit. This is the quickest way for us to get some pain and symptom relief for the patient. Further discussions about the meaning of the diagnosis will continue during and after treatment.

Dr. Chris Asks some important questions of interest to Anacortes residents - Chiropractor Anacortes Dr. Chris Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Anacortes parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
